As a lover and teacher of Christian Apologetics, I deeply desire to inspire other believers to learn the value of defending the Christian Faith against some of the objections thinking people have. Not all objections to the Christian Faith are created equal, and it is true that some serve only as a flimsy mask to avoid moral accountability to God. However, as our society has become increasingly skeptical, many are asking honest questions about the assumed conflict between science and faith, for example, or how we, as Christians, are to respond to questions about sexual orientation and gender identity.
These questions must be answered both competently and with compassion. So many in our world are hurting, and as a Christ follower, I believe the answers are found in God’s Word and, more particularly, in a relationship with God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
To aid the believer in learning to effectively answer the difficult questions that confront both our society and the Christian Faith, I have put together what I am calling The Apologist’s Starter Toolkit. On this and the other pages in the drop-down list, you will find recommendations for various publications, links to audio and video files, as well as other materials that I believe will get you started in your quest to become more informed and equipped in meeting the challenge of the hour — to defend the Faith and communicate the message of the gospel in a convincing and winsome way.
