“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (1 Peter 4:10)

Doing only what others have always done will only take you where they’ve already been. We can learn valuable lessons from others, but true originality comes from something God has placed inside of you alone. As a copy, you can only be average at best, but you can be a stellar original. What He’s placed in you is not in any one else in exactly the same way. As you give expression to the unique grace God has put in you, you will show an aspect of His wonder, creativity, and genius like no one else.

God has placed His ability in you to accomplish something that will look a little different than what He’s done or doing in others, so esteem what He’s put in them, but never devalue what He’s given you. There are some who will come to a greater understanding of God, be challenged in a new way, or be inspired to lift their game to another level, when they see you giving expression to what He’s entrusted to you. We need to see God’s glory in all its wonderful expressions, and someone is waiting to be encouraged by what you have to impart!
